Reception Offer

At Cherry Dale Primary School, we have 40 Reception class places. The children are split into two teaching groups with their own teacher and teaching assistant. The groups share the indoor and outdoor learning environment.

The school door opens at 8:35am. All the children will enter via the gate at the bottom of the EYFS playground and are greeted by a member of staff on the door.

Lunchtime is 11:30am and all children are entitled to a free school meal. 

The school day ends at 3:10pm. Honeybees leave school via the bottom gate to the EYFS playground and Bumblebees leave via the Nursery gate. 

Applications for our Reception class are made through Barnsley Local Authority Admissions who allocate all nursery and school places.
